Calvary GBC is a Bible believing, evangelical church of between 70-80 people which allows us to maintain a close, family-type atmosphere. We believe that everyone needs to have a personal relationship with God which can only be accomplished as individuals place their trust in what Christ accomplished on the cross for them. Salvation is by grace through faith. Our What We Believe page gives a summary of other things we hold to be true.

We are not perfect people, so if you have flaws...you'll fit right in. We do attempt, however, to identify our sinful habits and confess them to the Lord and allow His Spirit to help us become more Christ-like. If you are interested in exploring the Christian faith then please come along on a Sunday or contact the office for more information or to set up an appointment with the pastor.

We offer various types of ministries for each age group and participate in many activities throughout the year through our District and National affiliations. Our services are held primarily on Sunday and Wednesday but several activities take place at other times.

We are located in the west end of Hagerstown, MD, just a few blocks off of Interstate 81 and an easy drive from anywhere in the Washington County area.

Calvary is a member church in the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches and the Mid. Atlantic District of that fellowship. Our motto is: "The Bible, the Whole Bible and Nothing but the Bible."
