Realizing that most people who come to know Christ as their personal Savior do so before the age of 18, we at Calvary GBC are committed to youth ministries. The following are some of the ways we try to assist parents in their challenging role of teaching teens about their Heavenly Father.

We believe that God's Word is relevant to the needs of teenagers. For Middle School and Senior High teens we have: Sunday School; local, district and national activities, Bible quizzing, NAC (Nurturing Abilities for Christ), camps, retreats, conferences, a puppet team and much more. 

Sunday

Each Sunday we offer a Sunday School class for our teens. This is taught by Christians who love the Lord and teens.

Wednesday

From September until the middle of May we offer an AWANA program. This program is for children 3 years old and through High School. It includes Bible study & memorization, awards and games. The children have a great time! We also serve a free dinner at 6:00 for any clubber who wants to participate. Currently we have about 20 trained adults working in the AWANA program.

Music Ministries

To enhance their appreciation for and skill in music we offer a number of opportunities throughout the year. The teens are eligible and encouraged to join the adult choir for each of its special programs. We also feature the teens periodically in our Morning Worship Service.

Teen Camp

Each summer our 7th through 12th graders are eligible to go to Camp Albryoca for a week of Summer Camp. This is a great time of supervised recreation, Bible challenges, crafts, music and much much more.

Momentum (formerly BNYC)

The highlight of each year is Brethren National Youth Conference, a week-long conference in July with about 2,500 other teenagers and where some of the top youth speakers in the world challenge our teens to practical, godly living.
